Here at AMS, we're busy with our Limited Edition pieces, the first of which were released in the last week of October. Only 20 of these pendants will be made, each one stamped and numbered. 10% of all sales of the 2016 Limited Edition piece will be donated to the Racine County Food Bank. The design this year is a beautiful tear-drop shaped pendant with Mokume Gane and three channel-set stone accents.

This First Friday is for the Food Bank!

We're starting a campaign to celebrate Racine's "Hidden Gems",  and next weekend is all about the Racine County Food Bank! 

AMS will donate 15% of all sales made the first weekend in September (2-3rd) to the Racine County Food Bank. We will be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations as well!

We have the hues to brighten up your springtime! Special for May's First Friday, we’re showcasing two new lines of bold Color Gemstone jewelry, from two of our longtime friends and vendors.

One, a classic vintage-inspired line with juicy bright precious Gems and Diamonds, from Reno-based designer Kimberly Collins:

April Foolin' - play "Know Your Bling"!!!

April 1st is the first First Friday of the season, and we're playing "Know Your Bling"!!!

In honor of April's Birthstone, Diamond, we're holding another stone guessing contest. Stop in the store on April 1st, from 10am - 9pm, and try your hand at Diamond identification! Guess which stone is Diamond from the contest tray to be entered into a drawing for a super-sparkly AMS Sterling Silver and Cubic Zirconia pendant! Guess wrong? AMS's knowledgeable staff will be there to educate you on how to tell the difference in the future. 

One guess per customer. The winner of the drawing will be announced on Saturday, April 2nd.

  • Jeans Jazz Series - Hosted at the Racine Theater Guild, January 9th, this is the first in a series of four events. This performance will feature Kirk Tatnall and Jeannine Rivers as well as Orquesta Nabori. Click on the name of the event or HERE for more info.
  • Watercolor Wisconsin - At Charles A. Wustum Museum (Tues.-Sat. 10am-5pm FREE), a collection of art using water-based media. An annual favorite, this show is not to be missed! Click on the name of the event or HERE for more info. Runs now thru April 23, 2016.
  • The Big Chill - Hosted at Downtown Racine's Monument Square, January 15-17th, teams of artists work to carve sculptures from 6'x6'x10' (5,ooo lb.!!!) blocks of snow. Don't miss your chance to see these amazing works in person and vote for your favorite! There will also be ice sculptors carving from small blocks in front of the shops along Main and Sixth Streets.
